Mayor Ken Keith to ensure Parkes Shire is at the table to improve road and rail for the region

Before the last Federal election, Central NSW Councils of which Parkes Shire Council is a member was successful in lobbying for one of only two transport studies in NSW.
“The information from the $1m Central NSW Transport Needs Study will inform the Federal Government on how they will spend the $20billion they have set aside to get infrastructure in the country back to where it should be,” said Mayor Keith
